In reply to your letter of July 19th last, regarding your additional requirements at the subject site, enclosed is a copy of an Option obtained from Clarence and Mary Spears in the amount of $1,000.00, covering the purchase of approximately .5 of an acre being part of Lot 46, Concession 2, Township of St Edmunds.
This parcel is located adjacent to the westerly boundary of the area which was previously optioned from Ralph Borthers and is a continuation of the gravel deposit on the latter's property.
The amount of compensation in this case is based on the same rate as that allowed the Ralph Brothers.
This settlement is considered fair and reasonable and is recommended for acceptance. Will you please let us know if your concur therein.
