Further to our letter of November 3, 1961, we enclose two copies of our Acceptance of Tender in the amount of $53,867.00 covering the above-noted work. Kindly acknowledge receipt by returning one signed copy to this office.
Supervision of your operations will be under the direction of Mr JD McIlveen, Branch Manager, Defence Construction (1951) Limited, 3130 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario, or his representative. Please communicate with that office for further instructions. Also, please ensure that all future correspondence regarding this contract bears the above re-line reference.
Progress claims must be submitted on our standard forms, supplies of which are available at our Area Office. All claims must be certified by the Project Engineer from that office, who will then forward them to the Treasurer's Office, Defence Construction (1951) Limited, Ottawa.
With regard to insurance coverage, your attention is directed to the provisions of Clause 27, of Construction Conditions DCL 32.
Your security deposit in the form of Performance and Labour and Material Payment bonds will be retained by Defence Construction (1951) Limited in accordance with the terms of the contract.
