Further to our letter of September 28th, 1964, please find this Corporation's Official Receipt No 5353 in connection with the take over of the above noted land which was reported surplus by your Department under date of April 2nd, 1964.
For your information the land as described on receipt was sold to The Province of Ontario, c/o Department of Public Works, Parliament Buildings, Toronto, Ontario, which was approved by Order-in-Council PC 1965-228 dated February 11th, 1965.
The mines and minerals as they may exist have been excluded from this sale and allocated to the Department of Northern Affairs and National Resources under date of February 26th, 1965, a copy of which is attached for your information and records.
