Reference is made to previous correspondence concerning your land requirements for Gap Filler Radar Station at Gowganda, Ontario.
An enquiry was recently sent to the Ontario Department of Mines and in reply we are informed that the area selected for the Gap Filler Site includes a number of mining claims. The Chief Mining Recorder states that as mining claims are involved, he would prefer to have the area pinpointed as closely as possible, and also wishes to know whether or not surface rights only are required.
Will you kindly supply us with this information at an early date in order that we might resume our negotiations with the Province.
