Comments:

These pilots were attached to 434 Squadron at 3 (F) Wing, Zweibrucken Germany. The mid-air collision which occurred between F/O PK Cunningham in Sabre #23085 and F/O DW McCombs in Sabre # 23065 resulted in the death of both pilots and three people were also killed on the ground.
