This room housed the 601 Detachment, TgTech teletype repair workshop. It was located in the lower level of D'Ars bunker, right under the dias portion of the COC. This room is where TgTechs worked - from the time they moved the Teletype Relay that was operated by SU Telecom from the basement of the Chateau to L'Ouvrage d'Ars in 1960, until the Air Divison moved to Lahr in early 1967. These Techs also maintained all teletypes and crypto in most of the 601 Microwave Relay sites, the Message Center located in the Chateau, 61 AC&W Squadron and the dispersal airfields located at Bertrix, Rocroi and St. Hubert.
