Appendix "A" - Details of Instruction
INFORMATION
It has been decided to rewrite all OrgOs and to renumber them in sequence by Commands.
INTENTION
To rewrite the OrgO for 2 Radar and Communications Unit (Auxiliary) RCAF, (2 R&CU (Aux)).
EXECUTION
Effective Date
The provisions of this order are to become effective 1 Jan 55.
Role
The role of this Unit is to train Auxiliary and Primary Reserve Force Personnel in the telecommunications operations and maintenance trades, in accordance with the details of instruction at Appendix "A" an approved syllabi.
Command
The officer appointed to command 2 R&CU (Aux) is to be the Commanding Officer of this Unit as defined by QR (Air) art 1.02 (xxi)(a)(iii).
Control
Control of this Unit is to be exercised by the AOC ADC through the GpCdr, 2 Gp (Aux) and the CO 15 WgHQ (Aux).
ADMINISTRATIVE ARRANGEMENTS
Establishment
Establishment codes 120 AN 629 and 220 AN 629 are to remain in effect.
Personnel
The transfer or posting of personnel is to be arranged by AFHQ and ADCHQ.
Accounting
Pay and materiel accounting is to be arranged by the AOC ADC and these services are to be provided by the CO RCAF Stn Toronto.
Expenditures are to be charged to Vote 600, except pay and allowances and travel and transportation of Reserve personnel which are to be charged to Vote 601.
For the purposes of QR (Air) art 205.30 and AFAO F5.30 this Unit is not designated a flying unit.
Supply
The provision of materiel is to be arranged by the AOsC ADC and AMC in accordance with CAP 16 Vol 1 and this materiel is to be issued by the CO RCAF Stn Toronto.
Accommodation and Messing
Accommodation and messing are to be arranged by the AOC ADC.
Medical, Dental and Chaplaincy Services
Medical, Dental and chaplaincy services are to be arranged by the AOC ADC.
