Telecommunications – The high voltage power supply for the T2 trainer was loaned to Station Mont Apica 25 Nov to enable them to carry out STP training.

Recreation – The Station basketball team won at St. Jerome 34 – 32.

Administration – The Station Infirmary was visited by S/L Davies and F/L Evoy from ADCHQ.

Visit – The AOC, ADC, A/V/M WR MacBrien arrived for a one day visit. While touring the operations building, he witnessed a profile exercise that had been set up for his benefit.

Operations – An ECM exercise and a Broadcast Control mission were held. There were 44 intercepts today.

Recreation – Two teams were sent to participate in the basketball tournament at St. Jean, one men’s and one women’s team.

Telecommunications – Sgt. Montgomery was TOS today. He will be NCO i/c Field Maintenance Party #2 for teletype and crypto maintenance.

Administration – S/L Kay and F/O Hawkins arrived from ADCHQ for a two day SAOF inspection.

Operations – Exercises "Signpost" and "Cold Wind 10" were carried out. There were 37 intercepts.

Recreation – An inter-mess volleyball league was formed to start 29 Jan.

Recreation – A Square Dance club was formed.

Recreation – Twelve people attended a meeting to form a Wrestling Club. A Ski Club was formed, a committee elected, and the rules for the club and the ski hill drawn up.

Operations – Exercise "Two Ton" was carried out. There were 66 intercepts today.

Operations – Two exercises – "Cue Ball" and ECM Triangulation. There were 15 intercepts.

Recreation – The Photo Club presented films and a lecture in the theatre. A station bingo was attended by 120 people.

Telecommunications – Antenna drive trouble developed that requires technical assistance. Mr. M Martin and D Murray of Canadian General Electric, assisted by unit technicians, located and corrected the fault.

Visits – W/C KC Dobbin, S/L RM Beatty and S/L RE Epps arrived from ADCHQ for a 2 day visit.

Recreation - A Curling Club team was picked to represent the station in the QRA Bonspiel at St. Hubert.

Recreation – Approximately 100 people attended the station Bingo.

Recreation – A games morning was held for the station Cubs. Activities included basketball and swimming.

Recreation – There were 20 people in attendance at the Station Bridge Club.

Telecommunications – Mr. A Pearce of CGE arrived to investigate the trouble experienced with the amplidyne armature.

Telecommunications – Mr. DC Murray and Mr. P Smith arrived to assist Mr. Pearce. The armature was replaced in working order.

Operations – There were 19 intercepts today.

Recreation – A Winter Carnival was held. The CO started festivities by cutting a ribbon on the ski run. The days activities ended with a station dance.

Recreation – A hockey and basketball competition was held between the station and Morin heights school. The station team won the hockey games while the Morin Heights school won the basketball games. A meeting was held to organize a soccer club.

Operations – Exercise "two Ton" was run. There were 10 intercepts today.

Recreation – This unit took part in the ADC Wire Swim competition.

Telecommunications – Three airmen from the radar section departed for Baltimore and the Bendix Corporation to attend a maintenance course on the AN/FPS-20.

Telecommunications – Northwest Telephone Company took over the assistance in the maintenance of the NE-603 telephone plant. After much juggling of employees, Mr. J Sterns and Mr. R Pronovost remained as the representatives at this unit.

Operations – A Broadcast Control exercise was carried out. There were 14 intercepts.

Recreation – The Lac St. Denis team lost out in the finals of the QRA Ladies Volleyball tournament at Lachine. The station entry in the RCAF Association Quebec Bonspiel won and went on to win the Tri-Service Invitational Bonspiel at Kingston, Ontario.

Recreation – There were 18 participants in the station Badminton tournament. The station basketball team won at St. Jerome, 35 – 31.

Telecommunications – Difficulty was experienced with the rotational gear of the AN/CPS-6B and CGE technical assistance was requested.

Telecommunications – Mr. Zentner of CGE arrived.

Operations – There were 4 intercepts today.

Visits – This unit was visited by the Permanent Representatives to the North Atlantic Council. They arrived from St. Hubert in two helicopters and were greeted and conducted on a tour of the Operations Building and the townsite by G/C ME Pollard, #1 Sector Commander, and W/C SD Turner, CO.
