1999 - A Visit to Lac St. Denis – Lara Fitzgerald

Our thanks to Lara Fitzgerald for her recent trip to Lac St. Denis. The majority of these photographs show the current reamins of the station - in a way that has not been depicted to date.

A quick word of caution. If you were ever stationed at Lac St. Denis - and you have a tendency to get nostalgic - you may not want to look at these photos. Why - you may ask? Mainly because of the fact that these photos show a great deal of vandalism and destruction of what was once a proud unit.

Life carries on. It is unfortunate that someone did not have the forsight to convert Lac St. Denis into a tourist attraction or a museum of sorts.

You will notice that quite a few of these photos could use some identification. If you happen to recognize anything and you can provide a more detailed description - please send us an email message and we will update the detail accordingly.
