This cloth crest is probably the rarest of all the RCAF badges of 2 (F) Wing. In the early days, the personnel of the Aircraft Maintenance section in #4 hangar were put together from the personnel resources of the three Squadrons - 416, 421 and 430. Since we were a rather unique collection of Techs, some enterprising airman designed this crest for wear on our civilian jackets. We were known as the "Arab Squadron".
