Sabre 23134, Mk V, piloted by F/O J Volfing, crash landed on the aerodrome. Pilot was uninjured and aircraft was a complete write-off "A" category. Board of Inquiry with F/L Newsome as President, F/L W Jessop and F/O R Norton as Members, convened to investigate causes of damage.
