New Year's Eve – 31 December 1954
My mom was a beautiful woman. She was 27 and my dad was 29 when this photo was taken. I don't remember this one occasion specifically, but I do remember the times when she would dress up for a party in another amazing creation of her own making, and I used to think there couldn't be a "princess" anywhere who was any more breathtaking. And off she'd go, wrapped in her coat and a cloud of Tweed perfume - and me gazing at her in awe!".
