It should be remembered that everything started out as usual in September 1963. Rumours that the station might close were rampant early in November 1963 – with the official word about the closure taking place in February 1964. It appears that the station closure was the main reason why there was no year-book for the 1963-64 school year, but - there were some class photos taken.
Not everyone managed to complete the full school year at 2 Wing. There were a number of students who departed the station in April and May, as their families were transferred to other Wings, or back to Canada. In an attempt to at least recognize the fact that there was a grade 12 class, I am starting a list of names – students who were in the grade 12 class – the final grade 12 class at Lorraine High School, back in 1963-64.
