COMMAND
Command of 412 (T) Squadron was under Wing Commander W K Carr, AFC, CD. Second-in-Command was Squadron Leader J R Marshall, CD. Aircrew Leader was Squadron Leader HG Morson, CD.
ROLE
Transportation duties as assigned by Air Force Headquarters and Air Transport Command Headquarters remained the primary role of 412 (T) Squadron.
Duties were as follows:
PERSONNEL
Squadron establishment as of 01 Jun 58 was 82 officers and 340 airmen. Squadron strength was 82 officers and 334 airmen. This total includes 3 Mov U (Air)
Major personnel changes were as follows:
25659 W/C WGS Miller, CD, was transferred to AFHQ Air Operations and was replaced by 27113 W/C WK Carr, AFC, CD. 20342 S/L W Cunningham, CD, was transferred to Staff College, Toronto, and was replaced by 20360 S/L J Marshall, CD. 30291 S/L M Morson, CD, assumed duties as aircrew leader.
EQUIPMENT
Aircraft establishment was decreased during the period by one Dakota MK IV P Airspray. Aircraft on strength were:

2 Mitchell MkIIIPT - Special Transports
OPERATIONS
Operational hours totaled 4504:45 hours; training totaled 886:50 hours; testing and ferrying 153:05 hours for a total of 5544:40 hours as compared with a total of 6196:05 hours for the preceeding six month period and a total of 5191:35 hours for the corresponding period one year ago.
