G/C RC Davis (right), Commanding Officer of RCAF Station Saskatoon, shakes hands with Flght Sergeant JV Gray after just completing the Fligh Sergeants 10,000th GCA run. Flight Sergeant Gray performed this memorable run on a T-33 Silver Star jet aircraft which was flown by Group Captain Davis. Flight Sergeant Gray was recently transferred to Saskatoon as GCA Chief Controller. He served previously at the RCAF Advisory Group in Oldenburg, Germany where he was on the GCA advisory staff to the West German Air Force. He was born and raised in Halifax, and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. GN Gray, 394 Young Street, Halifax, NS. Flight Sergeant Gray enlisted in the RCAF in 1947 and has served at stations in Goose Bay, Labrador; Halifax; St. Hubert and Bagotville, Quebec, Langar, UK; and Oldenburg. Flight Sergeant and Mrs Gray and their four children live at 816 Avenue B North in Saskatoon.
